Kruger's pyramid of learning

Summary

Details

There are 3 elements learning for successful learning, according to Kruger's Pyramid

1. Confidence

One must believe that they can learn something new. Otherwise, the brain chemistry will be in fight or flight mode and not allocate any resources to learning. Humans can learn anything given enough time and effort.

2. Self-Management

A person needs to organize their time, resources, energy and tools in order to learn effectively. This also includes planning and preparation. It takes time, but is integral to effective learning

3. Learning

The actual learning: once confidence and self-management are in place, the actual learning is straight forward
